Product designer Gerd Couckhuyt designs and professionally advises companies in the development of products, interiors and graphic concepts. When designing a product he always has the technical feasability in mind. In his designs, social, cultural, political and ecological components play an important role as well as emotion, environment, history, provocation, sensitivity, ethics, culture, humour and many other parameters.

Gerd started a pure technical education in an industrial context. Later he got several degrees in art, interior design, light consultant and sculpture art. This combination and his feeling for creation makes him a more complete designer with not only an eye for the visual aspect but also the technical part. His inspiration comes from the absorption of daily visual and emotional impressions.
